Mill Dam Christmas Tree Farm is an active member of the Kansas Christmas Tree Growers Association.
The Mill Dam Christmas Tree Farm story began in 2013 when Kevin and Shala Steele planted their first 250 scotch pine seedlings. Over the course of 10 years they had planted and sold over 1,000 Christmas trees to wonderful families! Their family made so many memories and learned so much along the way.
Although field trees are not grown locally anymore, we continue to share our joy of the season and love being a part of your family Christmas tradition by offering fresh-cut Fraser Fir trees shipped in from Michigan at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Fredonia, KS!
In the summer of 2025 a mother daughter duo , Kim Figgins and Amber Ratzlaff, wanted to continue spreading the joy of Christmas through Christmas trees and so much more as the new owners of Mill Dam Christmas Tree Farms. We are very excited for our first season with many past and future customers/friends and will continue the tradition the Steele family created.
Opening Day is the day after Thanksgiving, Nov 28, 2025.
